Based on the study of hysteria and dances performed outside of medieval churches, the piece brings together choral work from that period with modern dances and rituals as one could imagine to be performed if allowed by the church at that time.

INFO
"This is the first piece I created for the company. At the time I was studying the dances of hysteria performed predominantly by groups of women outside churches during the Middle Ages. Although the piece is not a direct reflection of this hysteria, I wanted to capture the spirit and soul of those bodies who did not have the outlet to move and dance to the amazing music created at this time." -Kate Hutter Mason
