A Personalized Approach to Life By The Founders of Insecurity and Ego

An investigation of Insecurity & Ego - each performer tries to uphold their archetype, but soon realize this facade has frayed edges and chipping paint.  They must be seen and understood for their greatest strengths and weaknesses, and realize that we all need a ying to our yang to find balance in the world.

INFO

*”It was the first same gender duet I made, and I was excited to create distinct characters - Insecurity & Ego - to exercise some creative control over the movement qualities of each dancers and dig into the idiosyncratic behaviors that colored their personalities. Each tries to uphold their archetype, but soon realize this facade has frayed edges and chipping paint. They must be seen and understood for their greatest strengths and weaknesses, and realize that we all need a ying to our yang to find balance in the world.” -Kate Hutter
