"En Route" explores the forces at work when human thoughts are circulated, tossed around and transferred in a place that is ever evolving and at the brink of change. The dancers physicalize periods of uncertainty and self-reflection that lead them into their next course of action. As the dancers strive to stay in synch with one another they forge something that cannot be contained and start to effect their surrounding environment as it disintegrates. They are left with simple gestures that mirror one another and develop into a language of curiosity and mutual understanding.

INFO
The dancers create an atmosphere that is constantly building and disintegrating with an impulse to move forward. When the initial feeling of something is lost, other pathways present themselves to lead to something new and stir a change in direction. Energy is often manipulated and dispersed, but will eventually find a way to synch back up again. In this work, Lindsey continues an ongoing collaboration with musician Peter Gonzales, in which the music and movement come together to create a unique voice for the dancers and the environment in which they coexist.
