Support the Creation of “Story (Un)Structured”

As we prepare for our milestone season, we’re asking for your support in bringing our newest production to life. Your donation directly funds the creation of "Story (Un)Structured"—a multidisciplinary, immersive dance work premiering this fall.

Your support will help:
✔ Pay artists & collaborators to create soulful, inspired work
✔ Fund costumes, set design & production elements
✔ Ensure affordable ticket prices so more audiences can experience the show

📖 More About “Story (Un)Structured” Choreographed by Jillian Meyers
The work draws inspiration from the screenwriting process of the 8 Sequence Structure, a script method developed by Frank Daniel in the 1940s. Born out of logistical necessity when physical film reels were changed multiple times within a movie, the method organizes a narrative into distinct structural goals: Introductions, Dilemma, First Obstacle, Mid-Point, Twists and Turns, Low Point, Climax, and Resolution. The production will explore immersive storytelling by abstracting these screenwriting techniques through the lens of dance while weaving together elements of improvised dance, choreography, projection of live camera feed, and spoken text.
