Quinn O'Connor (she/they) is a producer, stage manager, and arts administrator who has worked at various institutions across the country, including The Public Theater, East West Players, Opera UCLA, L.A. Dance Project, IAMA Theatre Company, and the LA Philharmonic. She is currently the Season Producer for IAMA Theatre Company, commissioning new plays for Los Angeles audiences. Originally from Southern California, Quinn works at the intersection of performance and disability access, both in audience experience and representation by consulting with arts organizations and approaching access through a lens of disability justice. They are involved in various modes of advocacy, ranging from representation in the arts to accessibility in higher education. Quinn intends to open perspectives surrounding disability in the arts sector and create a more equitable environment for all. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Disability Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and is headed to Yale University’s David Geffen School of Drama this fall to get their MFA in Theatre Management.

After 20 years of artistic creation and community engagement, L.A. Contemporary Dance concludes its journey as an organization as of January 9, 2026.

Founded to showcase dance in Los Angeles, LACDC evolved into a home for collective artistry where performances were crafted by choreographers and dancers alongside playwrights, composers, designers, filmmakers, photographers, stage managers, technicians — an incredible team whose imaginative work gave shape and emotional depth to our repertory. These collaborations brought contemporary dance to life in ways that were bold, explorative, expressive, and accessible.

Through live events, digital experiences, and educational programming, LACDC cultivated environments rooted in curiosity, belonging, and learning without judgment. The organization consistently asked how contemporary dance might better reflect and serve the community around it, valuing discovery over mastery and process alongside performance.
